How e-lottery works
Let me explain how e-lottery works when playing the UK Lotto.
When you become a syndicate member, you will be one of 49 members in the syndicate and will enter both the Wednesday and Saturday draws.
Your syndicate numbers are automatically allocated and will consist of 5 main numbers in combination with another number from 1 to 49 to create a set of 44 lines of numbers.
With 5 main (different) numbers there are 44 remaining numbers to choose from, so by having 44 lines of numbers, your syndicate is guaranteed to match at least one winning number in every draw.
Improved Odds of Winning
Effectively, you now need one less ball to win a prize and your syndicate's odds of winning the UK Lotto jackpot are increased by 733%. The chances of winning the jackpot improve from 1 in 14 million to just 1 in 1.9 million.
Apart from improved odds of winning the jackpot, e-lottery offers the chance to win many smaller prizes because the 5 main syndicate numbers are entered 44 times (on every line). So if 3 of these numbers are drawn, all 44 lines produce a cash prize.
